It all Started with an idea.....

Buckshot, Tek, Steele, Ruck, Rock, Starang, Louieville, and da Top Dog werent always together as da Bcc. They first met in the streets of Brooklyn in the Decepticon gang. The first to get a break This pic is Copyrighted ©1998 by Da BCC Domain, no unauthorized use of this pic will be permitted w/o my permission. and make a record deal was Buck, with his 2 counterparts Five Ft. Accerator and Dj Evil DEE. Together they formed Black Moon and in 1993 with their debut album enta da stage they broke into the rap scene with their rugged style. On the album they introduced Smif-N-Wessun (currently known as da Cocoa Brovaz because of a law suit from the Smith and Wesson gun company) with the track Black Smif-N-Wessun Connectin. However Tek and Steele (Smif-N-Wessun) were not unknown in Ny at the time because they opened many of Black Moons concerts. In 1994, Black Moon released the remix of I Got Cha Opin (One of my all time favorite songs). On the promotional photo, the whole Boot Camp Clik is shown. Then Dj Evil Dee leaves to Dj a radio station (HOT 97). About a year later Smif-N-Wessun came out with their debut album DAH SHININ'. Many of the Bcc members were introduced on DAH SHININ', but they were first introduced together as the Boot Camp Clik on the New Jersey Drive soundtrack with the track Headz Aint Redee. Soon after that Buck and Smif-N-Wessun finally broke their contract with Nervous Records, and sign on with Dru Ha at DuckDown Entaprizez.. It is then where they finally set the rules for the Clik, some rules similar to the US Boot Camp. Consequenses for things like being late could be from push-ups, to loosing their money (each member has a money stash and if they break a rule, the money goes to freinds or relatives that are locked up or may need the $). After signing with Duckdown, Bcc starts working on records right away. In the summer of 1995, Heltah Skeltah (Ruck and Rock) come out with Nocturnal which blows up. With tracks like Operation Lockdown, and Therapy, they bring a new aspect to the Bcc style. About six months later OGC (originoo gunn clappaz) came out with their debut album, Da Storm. Their first single No Fear is recognized throughout the hip hop community and brings more attention to the Boot Camp Clik. About a year later the long awaited BCC album is released. Its is titled For The People and includes phone calls from 1-900-GETDABOOT as interludes. Each member of the Boot Camp was on the album, and was in charge of a track on the cd. So it was kind of like a Boot Camp compilation album. It included not necesserally new members, but introduced members such as da Reps, iLLA Noyz, Swan and Boggie Brown, B.T.J's, and the r&b group F.L.O.W. Look for these artists to come out with new albums as well as the Boot Camp tracks with 2Pac a.k.a Makaveli, and da Cocoa b's Won on Won on the Sole in the Hole soundtrack,  Fab 5's long awaited debut album,  Buck's album, da Cocoa B's Rude Awakening, Heltah Skeltah's Nocturnal II: Da Niggah Bible, and OGC's sophomore album!colorsession.jpg (46100 bytes)
